| If you haven’t heard about it, Portlandia is a sketch comedy show set in Portland, Oregon. The show stars Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein, and follows the lives of some of Portland’s more eccentric citizens. Last season’s characters were fabulous, and I’m even more excited about this season.
Their website promises new residents who will be moving in for season two include Marcus and Madeline Harris, the “Sanitation Twins” who take separating trash to a whole new level; Doug and Claire, a couple whose lives spin out of control when they run out of new episodes to watch of their favorite TV show; Spyke and Iris, the militant bike messenger and his fiancé striving for non-‐ conformity in their upcoming nuptials; and a struggling band who finds itself with an all too enthusiastic fan.
