Problem
Problem With a goal to have 99% of residential HVAC sales being electric heat pumps by 2032, Energy Smart Eastside is on a mission to make heat pumps the go-to choice in Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Mercer Island, Redmond, and Sammamish, Washington. Energy Smart Eastside turned to us for help after initial marketing efforts didn’t hit the mark. We worked to re-brand the organization and overcome key challenges to adoption.
Solution
GA Creative developed a modern, relatable, and environmentally friendly rebranding strategy ultimately reframing the story of electric heat pumps as a way to save money and be comfortable at home year-round. Most heat pump marketing features clunky appliances and confusing rebate structures. We took a relatable and humorous approach focusing on the cooling benefits in the summer and heat benefits in the winter.
Results

The first two seasonal brand awareness campaigns drove awareness and engagement through transit, social, and digital ads.
