The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW), Nisqually & Stillaguamish Tribes, and Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission needed to increase public understanding of salmon management in Washington, particularly co-management with indigenous people. The goal was to explain how Endangered Species Act listings impact fishing through mixed-stock fisheries.
GA Creative produced an eight-minute video featuring expert interviews, on-location footage, and animated visuals. The video explains salmon management strategies, highlights the vital role of salmon in the ecosystem, and encourages support for conservation efforts and hope for recovery.
