Multi-language awareness campaign
Problem
Washington State Department of Revenue was holding over $1.4 billion in property in 2022 waiting to be claimed. They wanted to run an awareness campaign in English and Spanish to drive more searches and claims, and to overcome stereotypes of fake online free money portals.
Solution
The fun, alliterative campaign drove a significant increase in claims year over year. We found a library of images for the Spanish ads which inspired their own unique stories ,and we developed a Spanish language landing page to create the best online user experience. In the first year alone, the Washington State Department of Revenue returned $138.9M compared to $89.4 million in the previous year – a 55% increase!
