Washington Department of Natural Resources Branding the Teanaway Community Forest
Problem
The Washington Department of Natural Resources (DNR) needed to brand the Teanaway Community Forest, Washington’s first state-owned community forest. Spanning more than 50,000 acres, the forest balances sustainable forestry and recreation. The goal was to develop a logo and interpretive panels that would help visitors understand the forest’s history and unique role in the region.
Solution
GA Creative worked with stakeholders to develop a badge-style logo that reflects the spirit of the Teanaway. Featuring Mt. Stuart, larch trees, and a natural color palette, the logo embodies partnership, restoration, preservation, and access. We also designed interpretive panels to help visitors connect with the forest’s story and significance.
